Painted in the 15th Century the four principal paintings cover the whole of the north wall of the nave.
The Exterior (6 photos)
Many exterior features are in jeopardy owing to the subsidence of the building following several years of dry weather, together with the ravages of time.
The Interior (8 photos)
An architectural gem, St Peter's Church contains a wealth of rare features from different centuries since the Norman period.
What a fantastic treat was in store for all those who came to the performance by the Osiligi Maasi Warriors in Raunds church this afternoon - they were quite incredible and I'm sure enjoyed by all present, even if some of us were convinced they would smack their heads during the jumping!! So some wonderful vocals and colourful costumes plus the opportunity to indulge in some pre-Christmas shopping - a great way to brighten up a rather dull autumn day.

St Peter's Flower Festival 2013 (12 photos)
The 15th & 16th June 2013 saw the church transformed with floral delights. The theme this year was 'Materials of Life'. Big thanks as always to Keith Gubbins for the wonderful displays and Rita Chantrell and her team for the refreshments.
Tour de France 2013 (24 photos)
On the 13th July 2013 St Peter's Church got into the spirit of the Tour De France with a fundraising event on exercise bikes. The Little Sunbeams did their 'Wiggins Wiggle' on the 2nd July - whizzing around the church on push alongs. Philip Chantrell was a superstar on a bike, despite suffering from COPD he did his turn on the exercise bike and showed us all how it should be done. The 2nd Raunds St Peter's Brownies joined us in the afternoon - we even managed to get some of the dad's involved!! Special thanks to the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Raunds (Cllr Pauline Williams and Cllr Helen Howell) who opened the event for us. Well done everyone.
St Peter's Seasonal Weekend (10 photos)
The 1st & 2nd December 2012 saw the Church decorated with Christmas trees for the start of the festive season, there was even a surprise visit from Father Christmas himself. Various groups associated with the Church decorated their own trees. £443.27 of the total raised went to our Campaign fund. Well done Keith and to everyone who decorated a tree.
St Peter's Flower Festival 2012 (15 photos)
The 16th & 17th June 2012 saw the annual Flower Festival, which this year had an alphabetical theme. Thanks are due to Keith Gubbins, and all his team for once again producing a stunning display, attracting visitors from across the benefice and beyond. Thanks are also due to Rita Chantrell and her catering team who ensured that both workers and visitors were fed and watered throughout the weekend, and to all those who manned stalls, sold raffle tickets or simply supported the weekend.
Thanks also go to all those that participated in or supported the Saturday evening concert, featuring local talent, including, for the first time, members of our very own church choir. The whole weekend raised a record breaking £3500 - a real boost to the Campaign.
